Greetings to all my faithful readers! Can you believe that January is on its way out?
On New Year's Day most families enjoyed the traditional meal of black-eyed peas and cabbage. It has been said that one is for money and the other is for goodluck. Believe it or not this was the first time we did not have the traditional meal. Matter of fact I was sick as a dog and ate nothing that day. Thank the Lord after a couple days I was feeling better!
