Hello once again to all my faithful readers! I hope all is well with you. This is the first week of May and we still have some cool mornings. Hang in there Spring time will gradually get here.
Our four night revival (Sunday-Wednesday) was wonderful. We had a good crowd every night and the Lord was home and had a spiritual visit. Bro. Lynn Martin delivered some spirit filled message and the music was uplifting. More details will be coming next week. Stay tuned in and find out about all the blessings we received.
Tuesday, April 18th, Kinley Jarrell celebrated her 7th birthday. A pretty decorated butterfly cookie cake was shared with her classmates. She is in the first grade at MHS and her teacher is Mrs. Tanna Brumfield. I love it when I get to share a part of the students' special day. That means I get in on the birthday celebration. On another occasion she had a castle birthday cake with family members.
Happy May birthday to these special ones: my granddaughter Jennifer Deonna Watkins, my granddaughter Amanda Huggins, my great granddaughter Tara Dennis, my great grandson Bryson Floyd Davis, my nieces Tiffany Aaron Conerly, and Jennifer Lynette Williamson, Wendell Vince, Wendi Vince Fortenberry. Each week during the month of May I plan to choose a mother/grandmother to share special things about her. This week is Mrs. Janice Schilling.
Mother/Grandmother Spotlight
Mrs. Janice Schilling is the mother of four living children, six grandchildren, and twelve precious great grandchildren. She is always honored by her dear family not only on Mother's Day but on numerous other occasions. When going out to eat her favorite food is always special. When her children were growing up they only had one vehicle that her husband Ray went to work in. They lived a mile from the church and walked there many times. She made sure they were in Sunday School and church learning about God's word. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5 & 6. She prays daily for her family and asks the Lord to take care of them.
