Hopefully you all had a fun, safe Fourth of July, celebrating Independence Day, the birthday of our great country. I had a nice day, having lunch with my son Bryan and keeping cool!
We are happy to have four candidates for baptism last Sunday. Adding to God's Kingdom is a blessing and we rejoice with them.
Dairymen and their families gathered at the Southeast Research Station for a day of recognition. Several were on the program. Dairymen received plaques for outstanding milk awards. Everyone enjoyed lunch, milk and ice cream. T-shirts were available to everyone. My brother Troy Ingram received a plaque. My sisters Jackie, Lorell and I were there to support our brother.

During the last week of school MHS students enjoyed fun activities. The fourth, fifth and six grade students enjoyed a special outing hosted by their teachers. Their fun filled days they played games and water sliding held on the football field. Snowballs and waterslides were a welcome treat on a "hot day".
The Beta Club hosted a Bloomer Bowl. Everyone gathered at the football field and enjoyed watching the game. The cheerleaders did great cheering them on.
A retirement reception was held in the MHS library for Becky Foley and Tanna Brumfield. Finger foods and a delicious strawberry cake was enjoyed by teachers, substitutes and personnel. These two special ladies will surely be missed. They each shared briefly and opened gifts and cards. It won't be the same without them.
We have several on the prayer list. Please pray for the sick, shut-ins and the ones who have lost beloved ones.
