Summer Time Greetings!
It is great visiting all my faithful readers. As usual I look forward to chatting with you. It rained here today, Wednesday, and has rained everyday for at least five days. The Lord thinks we need it, so he sends it.
Lots have been going on at Mt. Pisgah. We had a wonderful three night VBS. The boys and girls learned Bible truths, enjoyed singing, fun games and craft tine. Friday afternoon everyone enjoyed Garcia's Express Snowballs in many flavors. Family night was Friday night at 7p.m. During the program the teachers presented certificates to the students. The parents and guests gathered in the fellowship hall for a variety of goodies and visiting. I enjoyed going to see the boys and girls participating in the activities. Thanks to Rachel burch and her team for a great three night VBS.
Several from Mt. Pisgah enjoyed a Friday and Saturday retreat at Camp Living Waters near Robert, La.
Last, but not least we had a Sunday night singing and were blessed in group singing, and individuals. Following the gospel singing all adjourned to the fellowship hall for chit chat and tasty goodies.

Farm Safety Day was held on May 16th at MHS for grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. The teachers and students were spiffy dressed in matching farm safety t-shirts. The morning learning stations were set up in class rooms on handling different tools, gun safety, caring for your skin on hot summer days, emergency calls (911), AMTV safety, and medicine safety.
Mr. Aubry and Mrs. Minnie Posey, Becky Jenkins along with volunteers were on hand to lead the stations. The students were eager to learn about safety and were encouraged to put what they learned to practice. Thanks to Mr. Aubrey Posey, his wife Minnie and volunteers for presenting this educational learning to the Mt. Hermon School students. We really appreciate them.
Only a few more days until those school bells will ring again. Well boys and girls, teachers and personnel, your summer vacation will soon come to a close. I admit the summer went by like a whirlwind, but what can I say, "Time Flies' ' when you're having fun. We will have a brand new principal this year. Ms. Lee Bond will be at another school. We will surely miss her smiling face. We wish her the best.
Thought for the week! Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2
At the time of this writing my A/C is out and a bit uncomfortable in the house. Hopefully it will be repaired soon. Signing off for now; it's late and I need to get some sleep, if that is possible, with only the ceiling fans for cooling. Until next writing take care of yourself, prayerfully - Nell.
