Greetings to all my faithful reader. We are still experiencing some extremely hot weather. Everything is very dry. We really do need some rain. Surely the Lord is aware of our situation. He can and will come to our aid before it is too late.
It's time for the "Fall Food Round-Up for the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA. Every year at this time we gather all types of food to feed the children who live in the cottages. They need to be regular size canned food just as you use in your home (not gallon sized). You may contribute any commercially canned or processed foods, dry goods, paper products, toiletry items, cleaning supplies and money. The money received will be used to purchase milk, bread, eggs, meet and fresh produce needed through the year.

Happy August wedding anniversary to the following couples: Mike and Ginger Lewis, Jason and Fame Miller, Cody and Kim (Phillips) Mann, Richard and Becky Foley, Duane and Susan McNeese.

Please pray for my brother Troy Ingram, Staci and Eddie Bergeron, Donna Jean Penton, our pastor and church family, our new Christians, our community, Linda Jean Folks, Albert and Carolyn Lebo, Tam Brooks' daughter Haylee and the families who have loss beloved ones.
