Well folks, our "fair time" weather is finally here. The temperature has been in the upper 40's in the mornings during the fair. Some were bragging on how good it felt, for me, I was cold, which is not my favorite. For us cold natured people, we will just put on another layer. As hot as it has been, we are not going to complain. It's time for the weather to make a change, the third week in October.
Pastor appreciation was held for our pastor, Bro. Lenard Smith on Sunday night after the service. We presented him with cards and a beautiful basket of fruit from the church family. The children made a pretty poster. He and his wife Sheila were a bit surprised and appreciated the kindness shown. A variety of finger foods were enjoyed by all.

With the fair week behind us, what is next on the agenda? Fall Festivals. Friday, October 27th, MHS will have Fall Fest held on the football field. We will have a table set up and hand out goodies.
