Greetings once again!
Hopefully you had a blessed Thanksgiving eating and visiting with your family and friends. Bryan and I had lunch at Bo's Restaurant. Joining us was my brother Troy, my sister Jackie and Jerry. We invited Burl Schilling to join us.
Richard Schilling went to his sister Gale's. The Burch family gathered at Evelyn Burch’s for Thanksgiving and that night the drive to Tylertown to see the Christmas lights in the park. Charlie's son, Joshua, spent the week with his family.
Our church family Thanksgiving meal was held on Sunday, November 12th following the morning service. We had a bountiful meal and enjoyed it to the fullest. We had food left with some to bring home.
The Tate family gathered at the home of Mrs. Mary Tate for Thanksgiving, had some great eating and visiting. She told me that she taught her son Calvin to cook, and he took over the holiday cooking for her on Thanksgiving Day.
My sister Lorell had Thanksgiving with her daughter Sheila and husband's family.

Happy birthday to my great granddaughter Ava Marie Watkins who will be two years old on December 5th. Have a good one my sweetie. Also, my classmate and dear friend Lois Tynes. Shunna Williams and Faxon Coleman were named MHS student of the year. Congratulations to both of you.
Christian sympathy to the dear family who have lost loved ones especially to the family of Mr. Bryan Schexnider who was killed in an automobile accident. His funeral was on Monday, November 20th.
Marguerite Lipani's Thanksgiving was held at her son John's in Walker, La. They had a great day with family and friends.
The GRITS girls outing on Tuesday, November 28 was enjoyed and had a fun time. Sue Burch was the hostess for the outing held at the Chimes in Covington with 14 attending.
Doris Schilling, Richard Schilling, and I recently enjoyed BarBQ at Skinnies. The outing was special. I got another birthday treat. Thank you, Doris, for driving us. You took us there and back safely.
The Christmas program at MHS will be held Tuesday, December 14 at 8:30 AM.
Sheriff Randy "Country" Seal's Thanksgiving luncheon was held at the Franklinton First Baptist Church on Thursday, November 16. It was wonderful and well attended. It was good to see everyone. "Thank you" Mr. Randy! Also, thanks to the bags with the treats,. The students did an outstanding job serving us.
Get well wishes to Louis Tate. He had surgery on his right foot last Wednesday, November 29th. Do what the doctor said and don't talk back!
By the way, I was a winner again at Jack Browns. No, it was not the "Big" money - $25 and it was more than I had. I was thankful once again.
