Christmas time's a coming! Only eleven days 'til Christmas. Jolly Ole St. Nick will be making his rounds, delivering all those toys and special gifts to his good boys and girls. Christmas decorations and twinkling lights are beautiful in our community and our town of Franklinton. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go. Enjoy the holidays with your family.
Mt. Pisgah women on missions met in the fellowship hall for their November meeting. First on the agenda was prayer concerns. A sunshine basket would be given to Stacie and another one started. Each one shared things they were thankful for. Enjoying a variety of goodies were Frances, Janice, Sue, Valeria, Martha June, Fame, and Nell. Happy belated November anniversaries to Douglas and Martha Miller; they've been married for 54 years.

Teachers, students, and personnel look forward to the Christmas holidays. Our last day for 2023 is December 19th. Praise the Lord gasoline is under $3. Matter of fact I got gas for $2.98 9/10 the past two weeks or so. September 7th gas was $3.47 9/10. My last gas on December 5th was $2.87 9/10. Every little bit helps, right?
Lord, we are very thoughtful for our answered prayers. Some that was on the prayer list are doing better. Again "thank you"! Christmas sympathy to the family Myrna Schilling. Our prayers are with you during this time. Good thought: Tis the season to be jolly, but most of all, it's the time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Jesus is the "Reason for the Season."
Until my next writing- keep on smiling and I'll try to do the same. Prayerfully, Nell
