Winter Greetings to All!
Well my friends, January is gone. Tomorrow is the first day of February and I think we have had some fringed cold weather so far and probably will have more to come. By the way it's no fun having frozen pipes. At the time of this writing (Thursday), it has rained every day since Monday and water is everywhere. Whatever the Lord sends our way, let's be grateful and move on.
Frances Schilling and I went to my sister Loral's house for a "Dinner Theatre" last Friday. We enjoyed a meal of fried chicken with the trimming and lime ceasar salad. My brother came by and ate with us. After lunch we watched the Bald Knobbles Jamboree Show that our Red Hat’s went to see November 7, 2007. It brought back good memories. We went to Branson for a few days and this is one of the great shows we saw; What a fun afternoon.
Happy January Birthday to the following:
Crystal Crouch, Roslin Tate, Renet Tate, Ms. Loeicele James, Calvin Brumfield, Alvin Brumfield Sr., Luke Fazekar, Jasmine Buckley, Isabella Ricks, Jasmin Travis, Elizabeth Campbell, Emilyn Claire Hebert, Deshaun Richardson, Levi Anthony Rester, Remington Bankston, Aaron Scott, Dylan Digiovanni, Dwayne Elzey, Hope Hall, John J Hall, Kaiden U. Moore, Noah Wall, Dawson Taylor, Tyler Mathew Slaven, Zabyeaus Holmes, Drake Rentrop, Rayden Collice, Tanzie Rester.
Happy anniversary to Albert and Carolyn Lebo, who celebrated January 28th and to Michael and Joni Sanders whose anniversary was the 17th.
Friday, January 19 would have been my son William Allen "Bill" Alford's birthday. He would have been 63 years old. I sure do miss him.
Our church gave a generous donation to keep food for student families in MHS for Christmas. Brother Percy read a "Thank You" card from the teachers in charge. It's truly a blessing when I've helped others in need.
I haven't been feeling well this week. Please pray for me. I'm coughing, sneezing, and shaking. No fun at all!
Until next week, hang in there and try to keep smiling. Dress for the rain, seems like it will last a while.
Love Nell
