Greetings again to everyone. I trust this finds you all well once again. I hope you had and enjoyed a great week. Well, we are out of April and into the month of May. High School Seniors are finally out of school. There will be several Graduation Ceremonies held this week. Pine High school will hold their Graduation on Thursday, May 5th, at 7:30PM. My wife and I will be seeing our first grandchild, Levi Carter, graduate this Friday night, May 6th at Franklinton High School at 7:00 PM. We are all excited. You'd really have to understand Levi's story to fully understand why we are very excited.
Please let us join together and pray for all our Parish's graduates. They have a big ole, mean, wicked, world, just wanting to destroy their lives.
Please pray for Harmony Missionary Baptist Church as they lost their Church building to a fire Sunday night. I don't know all the details, as I was texted this information late Sunday night while preparing this column.
Please remember the James Jones, Jr. Family and the Mike Cassidy Family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved ones.
Happy Birthday to the following: . . . Staci Bergeron, Dave Rosenthal, Mike Brumfield, Sharon Breland, Vickie Phillips, Lasonda Luper,
Byron Brumfield, Shon Polk, and Sheret Luper.
Happy Anniversary to Gary & Gail Freeman.
Last week's Bible question: . . . Who in the Bible (KJV) had his armourbearer to slay him, because he didn't want people to say that a woman had killed him? 2nd part: What did the woman drop on the man's head? The answer is Abimelech and the woman had cast a piece of millstone on his head. Thanks to all who sent in answers. Ya'll did great in finding this in the Bible. Several people had never heard of this being in the Bible.
Don't forget to send me your announcements and/or answers to the questions. Send to lerandhunt@hotmail.com or text. 985-515-6041
This week's Bible question: . . . . .According to the Bible (KJV) what part of the human body cannot be tamed, and is liken to a fire?
Quote of the week: . . . . "An apple a day keeps anyone a way, if you throw it hard enough." (this one made me smile)
Until next time, have a great week and be blessed...!!
