Hello again everyone. It's always good to take a trip, but it seems it's always better to get back home. The Lord sure works in mysterious ways.
We found this little Baptist Church in Canton, Ga. It was located at a dead-end street. My wife and I made a total of 8 folks for the Sunday morning service. The man (kinda over things) said they haven't had a piano player in a few years. I told him my wife plays and that I could direct a few songs. After the songs, they asked me to preach a message. It was a blessing for us as well as them.
We were able to attend my mother-in-law's (Lucile Polk Kennedy) 80th birthday celebration this past Saturday at the Lawrence Creek Baptist Church fellowship hall. There were about 60- 65 people that attended. We had a good time of food and fellowship.
Happy Birthday to the following: . . . Tate Kennedy, Dustin Hobgood, Tamica Estave, Hayden Barber, Casey Kennedy, Gail Freeman, and Ashely Luper.
Happy Anniversary to Kelson & Valerie Penton.
We did not have a Bible question last week. This week's Bible question: . . .Whose body was fastened to the wall of Bethshan?
Quote for the week: . . . "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." . ---Dolly Parton.
Remember school starts back soon. Please slow down and watch for those children.
Have a blessed week. Till next time:
