Hello again everyone. Man, how time flies! Can you believe it? It's already October month. We are beginning to see that small change in our weather. The Washington Parish Free Fair will soon be here. We had some rain last week, which helped in my getting my mustard greens planted.
Congratulations to the 2023 Pine High School Homecoming Queen, Ms. Shanequa Fox. I wasn't able to see the Homecoming parade this year, but I'm sure it was nice. Mr. J.T. Thomas riding as the Grand Marshal. Also, the Pine High School football team came home with the WIN!! once again. Their record is now 5-0. Go Raiders!! Also, congratulations to the Pine High FFA Forestry teams for their first and second place finishes at the area contest.
Acy's Creek Missionary Baptist Church has a new young preacher in their congregation. Levi Carter, (our oldest grandchild) announced his call into the ministry, to preach the gospel, on Sunday, September 24th. He preached his first message at Acy's Creek Baptist Church on that same day in the evening service.
