Hello again everyone. I hope you all had a great week and weekend. At the time of writing this we haven't made it to the Christmas Festival in Franklinton. We hope to make it to the parade, then on to Mile Branch. I know the rain has had a lot of effect on all the Christmas activities, but, remember just a few short weeks ago, we were all praying for some rain.

Congratulations to Noah Barber as he was recognized Sunday at the New Orleans Saints game for his accomplishments in the classroom, in his community, and on the football field and basketball court. Way to go Noah, we're proud of you.
Don't forget that the "6th Annual Heart Of Pine Christmas Festival is this weekend. There will be a parade on Saturday the 9th at 4:45PM. There should be plenty of vendors for you to do some Christmas shopping. The shopping hours will be 10:00AM to 5:00 PM.
