Homemade Jelly Time
I ate some homemade Blackberry jelly with biscuits, egg and sausage. The jelly taste reminded me of blackberry cobbler pie. The other flavors of jelly are Mayhaw, Dewberry, and Plum. This jelly is made from scratch by Seleria Jones. If you would like to know what other flavors of jelly she has contact me and I’ll find out. They are delicious!
National Teacher's Day
The week of May 2-6,2022 was Teachers and Paras Appreciation Week at MHS.
Each day there was something special placed in the lounge for us to eat and snack on. On Wednesday we had Mexican Day with homemade chilli, cheese and whatever topping you wanted. We had an inspirational bracelet placed in our mail box from our MHS Administration. They thanked us for our hard work and dedication. Different school organizations, parents and students showed their love and appreciation throughout the week. They told us "they couldn't do their job without us". Teamwork makes the Dream Work. We couldn't do our job without them either. Thanks to everyone who helped make the week memorable. Special thanks to Principal Lee Bond and all other Administration.

Mosquito Trapper
Cut the top of a two liter bottle off (just under the hump) making two pieces. Put 1/4 cup of brown sugar in first, then add 1 cup of warm water, and last add 1/4 teaspoon of yeast in the bottom half. Take the top part (make sure the cap is off) of the bottle and place inside the bottom half upside down. The mosquitoes will be attracted to the sweet smell and get trapped inside. You can place this anywhere. You'll be surprised of the result.
