Saturday, November 05,2022 was a day and night of thanksgiving for Sandra Williams. She had a surprise visit from her daughter and her family from Houston Texas. She received a shopping spree, money, and gifts to help make her celebration special. Sandra's daughters Chitika/Ricardo Burris and Ashley/Silee Williams along with family and friends celebrated her Sixtieth Birthday. Sandra stated that the moment would be cherished and remembered forever.
Her special occasion was held in Covington at Zea's Restaurant. The food was G-R-E-A-T! The laughter and togetherness was priceless. After dinner a trip to New Orleans to walk through City Park and Beignets was more fun. The night ended back in Covington with a peaceful night stay at Holiday Inn. May God continue to bless and keep Sandra in health and strength.

Ground Beef Sauce
Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef, 1 medium onion, 10 ounces tomato rice soup, salt, pepper, and garlic(optional)
Brown ground beef (don't use oil to brown meat). Chop onion and add to the ground beef. Cook until the onion becomes nearly clear.
add salt and pepper (and minced garlic if you desire) while the onion is cooking. Pour in the can of soup and half can of water. Simmer for about 15 minutes. This quick dish is delicious over creamed potatoes!
