Showered With Love
A Ladybug Baby Shower was given to Rayfus Burris and Regine in Franklinton at the Annex Center. Much love and support was shown to the young couple. They were showered with gifts and well wishes. The guests played games, filled up on Gumbo and left with plenty treats. A special thanks to everyone for showing their support and love. Shoutout to Ms. Kemia's Sweets, Vertis Wilson, SeKenya Fleet and everyone else who had a role in making the celebration special. Thanks to everyone! RayJ and Regine are patiently waiting to meet Railey O'nai Burris, her forever birthday will be November 23, 2021. This is their first baby and my first ‘Grand’ baby.
‘I Live in Vernon Community Too’
This Week's Community Spotlight Resident is James Burris, Sr. and he’s lived in the community for decades. He attended and graduated from Mt. Hermon School. James is an all around person and knows how to do plenty side jobs. If anyone in the neighborhood needs help he's the person to call. He loves people and is always helping someone. Thumbs up to James for being Vernon Proud.
