MHS Homecoming 2023
MHS 2023 Homecoming Queen is Miss Ju'Myrie Williams.
All the ladies were very pretty and enjoyed an evening of special recognition.
MHS' Homecoming - Grand Marshals, Ms. Nell Smith and Ms. Romenia S. James, also enjoyed some more time in the spotlight. They were escorted into the gymnasium and were well received by the awaiting crowd. Both Christian ladies are loved and appreciated throughout the school and communities. Special thanks to Mrs. Lee Bond, Mt. Hermon School and everyone involved in making their night enjoyable and memorable.

Banana Nut Cake
1/2 cup solid shortening - 1 tps. vanilla - 1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour - 2 1/2 mashed bananas (soft) - 1 tps. baking soda
3 eggs - 1/2 cup sour cream -
1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 large loaf pans. Cream shortening, and sugar. Add bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Beat well. Mix the flour, soda, and salt into the mixture. Fold in sour cream. Pour in baking pan/s and bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
