Church News
Good Hope Baptist Church in Wilmer, Louisiana hosted a 'This Is Your Christian Life’ program last Sunday. The program honored several dedicated members of the church and my mother (Vertis Wilson) was one of the honorees. Family and friends showered them with tokens of love. Someone from each family that wanted to say something about or to them were welcomed. Many tributes, songs, and tears of joy were shared throughout the program. Each honoree received a Resolution, one for them and one to remain at the church. There was only standing room left in the church because of all the supporters. The ideal for the program was to give them their flowers while they are still here on earth to receive them and know that we love and appreciate them. To God be the glory.
