Father's Day Evening Community Ride
The Father's Day Community Ride through Vernon Community will be Sunday, June 18, 2023 after 4 PM. The meeting place will be at the home of James Briggs Sr. So bring your 4-wheelers, side by sides, motorcycles, scooters, or bicycles and enjoy some fun. We’re asking that you practice safety to be safe.
Community Uproar
Last week all through the community were more than enough armed Policemen, K-9 dogs, the Game Warden, and Police Air Support Helicopters. They moved through Vernon Community searching for someone that was wanted, leaving the community shaken. My phone was ringing back to back because people were wanting to know what was going on. Our quiet community was turned into a movie scene that wasn't in the making. To every community person reading this article remember if you see something or someone unusual o out of the norm say something. We never know when something we consider as nothing can or will turn into something harmful.
This Works
Cook scrambled eggs in hot boiling salted water on medium heat. Break eggs mix well then pour eggs into the bubbling boiling water. Cover eggs for about 40 seconds. Pour eggs onto a paper towels and the extra water will drain off. Top with seasoning of your choice and eat them. Enjoy!
