Summer!
Today, June 21, 2023 is the first day of SUMMER. The weather (heat) has been feeling like summer for some time now. Stay safe and out of this scorching heat as much as possible.

Thanks for making the Father's Day Community Ride pleasurable. I’m already planning for next year. Shoutout to Calvin Tate, James Briggs and Dennis Trotter for their help in making my thought a reality. Better together. There were about 50 motor vehicles and 100 riders. A safe good time and way to end Father’s Day. Thanks to everyone who participated.

This Works
Microwave corn in the husk and you won't have to mess with that silk. Put the corn on a plate that's microwave safe and for 1- ear- 2 minutes, 2 ears - 4 minutes increase the minutes for more ears of corn. Timing will vary based on microwave wattage. Let the corn cool for about 5 minutes after cooking. Cut about an inch off the end that has the stub. Don't cut the end with the silk showing! Corn will be hot so hold it with a towel. Take the end of the corn with the silk and pull it away. If you have trouble peeling away the husk, peel the top back to help get it started.
Did You Know
You can freeze corn in the husk.
