Union Chapel AME Church - Rev. Gary T. Porter, Pastor
Annual Community Holiday Service will be Sunday, December 19, at 1:00pm
Rev. Norwert Hills Jr. the Pastor of Sweet Rest Missionary Baptist Church will be their Guest Speaker.
Union Chapel Angelic Choir will host this program. Christmas Dinner will be served after the service.
Their Christmas Program will be held Wednesday, December 22nd at 6:00pm

The Vernon Community Spotlight Resident this week is Cela Burris.
Cela is the daughter of Gent and Elaine Burris. She's quiet and loves her family dearly. She retired from Tulane Primate Center in Covington, Louisiana. She enjoys sitting on her porch, helping take care of her grandchildren and mother. She's a lovable person and is always kind to everyone she meets. Thumbs Up to her for being Vernon Proud.
