Deborah Lynn Magee, 72, a resident of the Hackley Community passed away Saturday evening March 15, 2025 at Our Lady of The Angels Hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Ohio born on June 26, 1952. Deborah attended Dexter Pentecostal Church and loved cooking for her family and friends. Alongside her husband, she enjoyed woodworking, crafting and painting. She liked to garden and can vegetables that she often shared with her family and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her mother Norma Agey Graham, father Herman A. Lake, sister Sandra Lake Meche, father in law and mother in law Joel R. Magee, Sr. and Vanda Rogers Magee and several brothers in law and sisters in law.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Wednesday March 19th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Bro. J.W. Terrell and Bro. Scottie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the J. Magee Family Cemetery.
