Early voting for the March 29 election will begin soon.
Early voting in Franklinton at the Registrar of Voters office in the courthouse will start Saturday, March 15 and will continue each day through and including March 22, with the exception of Sunday, March 16. Early voting hours are 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
In Bogalusa, early voting will take place on Saturday, March 15; Monday, March 17; Friday, March 21,;and Saturday, March 22. Early voting hours in Bogalusa are 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., and the early voting location is Northshore Technical College (Vo-Tech) at 1710 Sullivan Drive.
At both the Franklinton and Bogalusa early voting locations, voters need to bring their drivers license or State of Louisiana ID.
On the March 29 ballot are a special election for the District 8 seat on the Washington Parish School Board and four proposed State Of Louisiana constitutional amendments.
