Elouise Creel Brown, a resident of Wilmer, Louisiana passed away Wednesday morning March 12, 2025 at her home. She was born in Wilmer on October 14, 1928 and was 96 years of age. Elouise was a lifetime active member of Wilmer Missionary Baptist Church. She was retired after a long career as a scheduling coordinator at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flower beds. Elouise also enjoyed canning vegetables, sewing and cooking for her family.

2 Grandsons and Spouses: Logan and Molly Lee, Garrett Lee and Lynsey DeVaney
2 Great-granddaughters: Bentley Lee, Olive Lee
Sister: Bonnie Sue Bethel
Also many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Abner Brown, parents Mack Creel and Darence Grace Creel, brother Wilbur Creel and other family members.
Visitation will be at Wilmer Baptist Church on Friday March 14th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11:00 am Friday with Eld. Jason Skipper and Eld. Richard Magee officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmer Church Cemetery.
