It is hard to believe that it is already March, and the time change has already occurred. The Spring Forward time of year always gets me, because I sure do like my sleep, that is for sure. I hope you all had a great week off for Mardi Gras. We were able to get a few things done, a trip to the coast, doctor appointments, some shopping, and hanging out with family, etc.
Enon Baptist Church has their Annual Men’s Retreat from April 10th to 13th on the Pearl River. The estimated cost is $60 per person. My daughter Gracie Thigpen has been invited to do a mission internship in Ireland with Serge Ministries. The church is receiving a love offering to help cover her expenses. If you would like to make a donation, please designate to the “Evangelism Fund”.
The Youth had a fantastic turn out for the Veggie Sales. Thank you for all of your support.
Children In Action will have a Family Nerf Night on March 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm with a light supper provided. Vacation Bible School will be June 8th to 12th from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. There will be a Yard & Vendor Sale in April. We will be accepting vendor and yard sale spots soon. If you would like to donate any items, just bring them by the church and Mrs. Alice and the kiddos will handle the rest.

Happy birthday to Angela Polkey, Cameron Robertson Ball, Kayla Jones Seabrook, Sarah Bateman Cooper, Taylor Cotton Knight, my amazing nephew T.J. Gay, and my wonderful father-in-law John Thigpen.
We hope that our Enon Eagles had a great break and that they are ready to prepare for LEAP testing. We had a nice turn out for our Academic/LEAP Night. Students who had a parent/guardian attending were able to wear jeans on Wednesday. March 14th is the end of the 3rd9 weeks. March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, so students can wear Green Tops with uniform bottoms. March 19th is Bert Burr Easter Pictures (Free Dress if buying pictures) March 21st is Report Cards and $1 Denim Day. March 25th is Pre-K/Kindergarten Enrollment for new students. (Current EES students do not need to re-register) March 26thYearbook Money is due. LEAP Testing begins April 2nd.
