If you know me, you know I do not like bad weather. This past weekend was quite anxiety riddled for everyone, and we are praying for those who lost so much. There was so much devastation all over, it is hard to take it all in.
Enon Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School from June 8th through 12th from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. We are in need of toilet/paper towel rolls, Acrylic Paints, Empty Oatmeal Containers, Pool Noodles, Painters Tape, and Large Cotton Balls. Family Nerf Night will be March 29th from 5 pm to 7 pm with a light supper provided.
Needs for Operation Christmas Child are wash cloths, toothbrushes, small Kleenex, combs, socks, and $15 postage per box. We are always taking Box Tops for Education, Community Coffee Coupons, and Aluminum can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The Washington Parish Food Bank is in need of canned vegetables, grits, dried beans, juices, boxed rice sides, peanut butter, and macaroni and cheese.
The Youth of Enon Baptist Church will be having a Bake Sale on April 13th, Nothing Bundt Cake Sale starts May 19th, an Escape Room trip will be announced, Kayaking Trip is May 23rd, and Camp Fuego is June 23rd to 27th and Camp Arise July 20th to 24th. There will be a Yard and Vendor Sale in April.....I hope to have a date soon.

Enon Elementary School is ordering Yearbooks, they are $25, and orders are due by March 26th.
Our Enon 4-Her’s are preparing for Achievement Day on March 27th.
Congratulations to Annabelle Venable who received 3rd place for the 2025 Mardi Gras Mask and Beaded Art contest for the parish.
In the 2025 4-H Cookery Contest Max Silva won for Egg Appetizer/Side Dish, Zachary Diaz won for Main Dish/Salad, and for the Sugar Category Cookies.
LEAP Spirit Week will be March 26th through April 1st. The 26th will be Camouflage in CLASS with COLOR: Pre-K blue, Kindergarten red, 1storange, 2nd green, 3rd yellow, 4th purple, 5th pink, 6th tye-dye or black.
The 27th will be SERVE your team with Support, wear your favorite team jersey/shirt with khaki bottoms. The 28th SERVE your school with Spirit, Leap T-shirt, Spirit Shirt or School Polo with Khaki bottoms (or Denim for $1). March 31st Camouflage in your favorite DECADE. April 1st Camouflage yourself to TEST, dress in Camouflage clothing from head to toe. LEAP Testing starts April 2nd.
