Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there. Sorry I am a tad late, but with graduation I forgot all the things I had going on this past weekend. It was a weekend filled with graduation celebrations, food, garage sale/hotdog sale, church, Mother’s Day lunch, etc.
I was also able to spend time with our Tennessee “family” (friends who have become family since I was about 8 years old or so) They came down to surprise the girls for their graduation and a surprise it was!
Brother Chris gave a wonderful message for Mother’s Day on Sunday. I definitely felt encouraged afterwards. We will be having Vacation Bible School workdays on May 17th, May 31st, and June 7th. VBS will be June 8-12 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.
There will be Baby Showers for baby boys at Enon Baptist Church in the month of May, one for Cameron Ball on May 24th at 10 am and one for Karie Lanham May 31st at 10 am.
The Youth will begin their Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraiser on May 19th. There will be a Youth Kayaking trip on May 23rd. Camp Fuego will be June 23-27 and Camp Arise is July 20-24. Please be in prayer for these camps and the campers.
There will be a Jambalaya Fundraiser for Brother Fred Brumfield this week through Palestine Baptist Church. If you would like to donate or purchase a ticket check with their church or Brother Chris by Wednesday. Please pray for Fred and his family as they are working on finding treatments and trials for him.
Blessing of Food will be May 15th and 16th. We had an excellent turnout for our garage sale at EBC, thank you for all who donated, shared, and bought.

Last week the Class of 2025 from Franklinton High School did their last walk through at FES, FPS, and EES. It was bittersweet for me, but so fun to see Annalise and her friends have such a great time playing and being a kid again in the Enon Gym. Best of luck Graduates!!!
