Summer is coming y’all! It is already in the upper 80’s to 90’s and although it is mighty warm, I AM READY FOR SUMMER! So many changes have taken place in the last month, but I am in desperate need of a break. After 25 years of teaching, I am tired in every way, but I plan to rejuvenate myself with everything we have going on this summer. Several trips, lots of organizing, and cleaning out, maybe I will be able to help my girls organize as well.
The Youth of Enon Baptist Church are doing a Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraiser for church camp. The cakes are $8 each and our orders are to be turned in by June 1st. Please get with me, a Youth, or Mrs. Miranda to place your orders!They will have a Kayaking Trip on May 23rd as well.
EBC has funds going for the parsonage and Gracie Thigpen’s mission trip to Ireland. May 25th we will be blessed to have Brother Isaac Makashinyi preaching during our morning worship service. We will receive a love offering for him at the end of service.
Congratulations to Joel and Cheyenne Brumfield on the birth of their daughter Rory Grace Brumfield.

Happy birthday to Donnie Wells, Jeremy Newman, Christina Byers Bush, Reverend Thomas Strong, one of our FANTASTIC 3rd grade teachers Krystal Jenkins, Megan Jones Branch, Kayla Hennick, Alice Green Pigott, Macey Deleon, Trent Sharp, Sharon Rogers Smith, Karon Rogers Armand, and I hope my oldest daughter Gracie Thigpen has a WONDERFUL 20th birthday. Enon Elementary School Kindergarten had an amazing time celebrating the end of the year with a FUN DAY! Kindergarten and Pre-K Graduated May 19th and 6th grade had their awards the same day. May 20th was awards day for 1st through 5th. May 21st was FUN DAY and May 22 is a half day of school. We hope EVERYONE has a safe, happy, and wonderful summer.
Our book fair was amazing this past week, thank you Mrs. Hollie and Mrs. Brittany. 5th grade students created math games and presented them last week. The students really enjoyed it.
The Enon Library got a new shipment of books, so go take a gander, and visit with the librarians. Don’t forget to register for the Summer Reading Program! I know all of the kids are looking forward to it.
