This week the Enon Library will be in full swing for the Summer Reading Program. I always loved doing it, because I was so competitive with reading my books. I am a reader for sure, but I feel like I don’t get to read as much now. I hope to read several books over the summer though.
The reading program runs from June 4 through July 16 with many activities, crafts, and performances along the way. I hope you bring your kids to not only learn, but to have fun!
Enon Baptist Church has 3 young ladies at Camp Fuego this week as Staff Counselors. They are Rebecca Ginn, Bella Pecot, and Gracie Thigpen. Pray that they have a safe and wonderful time while helping middle school students learn more about God’s love and mercy. I just can’t brag enough about how special Camp Fuego is for kids and adults as well.
Operation Christmas Child needs for our shoeboxes are washcloths, toys for 2-4 year olds, purse Kleenex, coloring books, combs, socks and $15 postage.
Our Youth will be heading to Camp Fuego the week of June 23-27 and Camp Arise from July 20-24. June 4th will be Pizza and Water Day for our kids, bring your water guns and towels! Vacation Bible School will be June 8th to 12th. We are still looking for monetary donations for meals. June 7th will be the final work/training day from 8 am until.

Condolences to the families of David Bryant, Claudell Talley, Oliver Wayne Bond, and Marth Young. There are so many families who are hurting and are in need of prayer. Please pray for peace and comfort for each of them.
There is a job opening at Enon Elementary School for Literacy Coach, applications are due by June 5th.
If you have a Pre-K or Kindergarten student who has not registered at Enon Elementary School yet, please make sure to do so as soon as possible. We would love to have your student with us!
