The Youth of Enon Baptist Church are back home from Camp Fuego. They came home Friday and had Youth Sunday this past Sunday. They learned so much more about the Lord, and made so many new relationships, not just with others, but within their own group. Of course, in Louisiana fashion (and Eunice) it was hot and rained off and on. One game they played wasn’t supposed to be muddy, but it rained and playing tug of war in the mud seemed to be entertaining, or at least for my kid. We always love hearing about their experiences at camp and the music that they learned. I know they are already looking forward to next year.
I can’t believe that June is over, and we are headed full swing into July! I hope you all have a great time celebrating the 4th of July! Be safe and be careful!
Happy birthday to Clara Faye Adams, Jennifer Ginn, Rose Hickman, Dione D’Luca, and one of our amazing 2ndgrade teachers, Sarah Morse.
Condolences to the families of William Russell Creel, Sr., Selvage McCain, and Emerson Barger.
