July is in full swing, and it is hot! I usually dread the months of July and August because of the heat, getting back into the routine of school, among other things. I start the summer with all of these plans to accomplish and more than likely only a few items on my list get checked off. Maybe I will get a few things done in the next few weeks!
Gracie is preparing for her mission trip to Ireland at the end of the month. We are so excited for her, but would also love prayers for safe travels, and safety while she is out and about. I told her she gets to go and then take us back to show us around! We are so grateful for those who are praying and have helped support her financially. Thank you!
Enon Baptist Church had their 4th of July celebration this past Sunday night at Riverbend Campground. Watermelon and homemade ice cream is always a treat! The Youth will have Camp Arise July 20th through the 24th. If you would like to volunteer to help or donate, please let Brother Chris or Brother Lenny know. The Children in Action are already preparing for the Washington Parish Free Fair Parade. If you are willing to help, please let Mrs. Alice or Mrs. Chirsty know.
Condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones in the Texas floods, and Margaret Knight Smith, John Sharp, Wade Singletary, and Ray Penton.
