Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all are having a wonderful week filled with family time, laughter, and love. I am out of town at the moment on a quick get away to Hot Springs, Arkansas for my 50th birthday on November 26th. I have no idea how 50 years have flown by so quickly, but I am ready to party. We will be gathering for my birthday at Whiskey Tavern to enjoy a night of laughter, fun, and LINE DANCING! That is the goal anyway, hopefully no body parts will be broken in the process. (haha)
Enon Baptist Church had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner Sunday night. If you are interested in sponsoring a Youth for Camp Fuego, please contact Gracie Thigpen or Brother Chris. Parent’s Night Out is November 29thfrom 5 pm to 10 pm. There will be no Wednesday Night Activities on November 26th.
Condolences to the families of Nan Wood, Jimmy Brumfield, Jimmie Lou McKenzie, Thomas Ahlman, and Warren Cooke.
Happy birthday to one of our fantastic 5th grade teachers Rebekah Smith, Tanna Brumfield, Amanda Jones, Zach Ginn, Dylan Varnado, John Daniel Polk, Chris Carden, Miranda Polk, Zachary Naegele, and April Hughes Jenkins.
Enon Elementary School had Beta Induction this past week. Congratulations to all of those who were asked to join! We had some awesome turkeys decorated this past week. Congrats to all of the winners! Please check our Facebook Page for days that buses may not be running next week. 3rd grade was making it rain learning about the water cycle. Our kids had a grand time at Special Olympics and did really well.
The Enon Library will be closed Thursday through Monday. Mrs. Hollie Graham won the Thanksgiving drawing.
I hope you all have a great week. I guess I need to start finding all of my Christmas Décor so I can get busy decorating. I wonder if I will find the things that were “missing” last year? Until next time!
