The Youth of Enon Baptist Church will be holding a Dumplings for Donation Fundraiser this upcoming Sunday (January 18th). If you would like to purchase a plate, they will be ready right after church dismisses. (around 12 pm). For the sake of my child, I am going to attempt to make my daddy’s dumplings. I have never made them myself although I would help him roll the dough out as a kid. I am hoping for the best!

If your 6th grade student would like to try out for a support group at Franklinton Jr. High there is Mandatory Parent Meeting on January 15th at 5:30 pm. This meeting must be attended by a parent or legal guardian in order for them to try out.
Congratulations to the Enon Elementary Teacher of the Month Rebekah Smith and Staff of the Month Brittany Galloway. Report cards went home January 12th. January 16th will be $1 Denim Day. January 19th is a school holiday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Mardi Gras Holiday will be February 16th to 20th. Dr. Seuss Dress Day is March 2nd. Spring Break is April 3rd to 10th. LEAP Testing is April 15-17 and 20-21.
The Enon Library has Storytime with movies, snacks and drinks every Thursday after school. January 15th Snowmen All Year, January 22nd Amazing Snowmen, and January 29th Snowmen at Work. There will be a Teen Night Un-Slumber Party on January 16th from 6 pm to 8 pm. It is for ages 12-17, put on your favorite winter PJs for a night of music, games, and more!
