Mardi Gras season is upon us. The girls and I enjoyed the new night parade of the Krewe of Odysseus Friday night in Franklinton and then the Krewe of Olympia in Covington Saturday night. We plan to attend the Krewe of Pepe February 15th at 2 pm and then February 17th the Covington Lions Club parade at 10 am followed by the Mystic Krewe of Covington and the Krewe of Bogue Falaya.

The Youth of Enon Baptist Church will be having their Lock In on February 27th. If you would like to help out in any way, please let Gracie Thigpen or Brother Chris know. There will be lots of food, games, fellowship, and music. This is a great group of kids to hang out with for sure!
Parent’s Night Out will be February 14th from 5 pm to 10 pm. Senior Adult Love Luncheon will be on February 15th.

Elementary sent Progress Reports out February 9th. Last week was Counselors Week and we are so very thankful and grateful to Mrs. Jessica Easterling for being so amazing with us and our kiddos! Thank you for all you do! February 13th will be $1 Denim Day with red or pink tops. Mother & Son Game Night is 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Mardi Gras Break is February 16th to February 20th. February 24th is Academic/LEAP Night from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. February 27th is the deadline to order LEAP Spirit Shirts.
Remember the first Friday of each month the Enon Library has Lego Fun Time at 3:15 pm. Thursdays are Story Time right after school. Please make sure you and your students have library cards, if you do not the ladies can help you get one!
