Welcome back to another week of: “We do not know what the weather will be today or any other day!” Week before last we had snow, and this week the temperature could be pushing 80 degrees.
James and I spent the weekend in Natchez, MS again at the The King’s Daughters Bed and Breakfast. Mrs. Heather that owns and operates it is amazing, we love staying there. It just so happens that one of my Franklinton friends is her next door neighbor! (Rebecca Beverly Samrow) If you get the chance, I highly recommend staying with Mrs. Heather!
The Youth at Enon Baptist Church are in full swing of selling their veggies for a Fundraiser for Camp Fuego. (Delivery date has been changed to March 8th from 10 am to 11 am) I can’t brag on this camp enough. My girls have been lucky to experience it, and Gracie has experienced it as a camper and counselor. We love Camp Fuego and the staff! Thank you for always supporting our Youth.
Parent’s Night Out will be February 14th from 5 pm to 10 pm. There will be a Senior Adult Love Luncheon on February 16th. Feel free to come and exercise with us on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm. Blessing of Food will be February 27thand 28th. Women’s Missions and Ministry Monthly Activity will be a “Galentine’s Gathering” at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on February 15th from 11 am to 1 pm. There will be a Ladies’ Retreat on March 21-22.

February 17th was supposed to be a Virtual Day for Washington Parish Schools, but it has been changed to an In School Day to make up for a snow day.
Miss Sarah Morse was honored as EES’s 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year this past week.
Our students will be taking the LEAP test April 2nd to 8th. We are ordering test t-shirts, if you would like to order one, they are $12 and due by February 14th. The Enon Library had their Scrabble game this past week and will have another February 28th at 2 pm. They would love to have you join them!
