We spent the weekend in New Orleans (not realizing until it was too late that so many festivals were going on, oops!) to celebrate James and Annalise’s birthdays. It was a good weekend trying new foods, shopping, exploring, and after dropping James off at the airport for work out of town, the girls and I traveled over to Baton Rouge. We explored, thrifted, shopped, and ate our way around there as well. I may need another day to recover.
My brother Mike and sister-in-law Natalie (along with Bear) spent some much-needed time in the Tennessee Mountains the past few weeks. They saw plenty of bears, deer, etc. I am ready to get there for a visit myself as soon as possible.
