We made it back from Tennessee this past weekend and are doing a turn around for Gracie to fly to Philadelphia from New Orleans and then from Philadelphia to London. Please pray for safe travels, her team, and those that they will come in contact with and work with over the summer.
I am so thankful to have friends in different parts of the world! My friend/cousin will be picking her up from the Philly airport so we don’t have to worry about her dealing with all of her luggage on the train or in an Uber (that would be $$$) and possibly losing things. Thank you to all of you who have supported her through this process, we appreciate you more than you know.
Our TN trip was much needed and honestly need some more time there. I am grateful for our friends there and the time we got to visit with them. Our friends Karen, Jeff, and Willard are friends that have become family. We met Karen when she was 19 years old working at Talley Ho Motel in Townsend in the 80’s. We got to know her brother Willard later on and her husband Jeff is just the perfect mix. They have been there for so many good and bad times in our life and we are thankful for them.
Enon Baptist Church has Vacation Bible School going on this week. Please pray for each volunteer, worker, teacher, and student. Please pray for our Youth and chaperones as they prepare for Camp Fuego. Camp will be June 22-26. Happy birthday to Adam Pace, Diana Casanova, Christal Mizell, Mason Inabnitt, my oldest brother Mike Sharp, our fantastic librarian Hollie Graham, Karen Inabnitt Gatlin, Heather Register Sachs, Amanda Porter, Whitney Quave Newman, Winola Holiday, Alan Fussell, Jessica Miller, Jackie Boone, our awesome secretary Toni Rosa, and Emily Jones.

The Enon Library has Story Time at 3:15 pm to Tuesdays, June 16 Grumpy Monkey: Up All Night, June 23 A Very Hungry Caterpillar, and June 30 Chase the Moon, Tiny Turtle: A Hatchling’s Race to the Sea. The library has performances every Wednesday at 2 pm. If you have any questions, stop by the library or call them.
