Gracie is coming home this week! She will return to the amazing United States of America on Thursday and will be coming into New Orleans on Friday!
This summer has taught her so many things, one of the most important being how good we truly have it in the USA. We know that the USA is a melting pot of people (kind of like Louisiana), but being in England showed her the true variety of beliefs, attitudes, and nationalities as well. I will let you know when she plans to share about her summer soon.
Chris Ginn gave a wonderful sermon on “Starting Over” at Enon Baptist Church this past Sunday. Janie Beth Brumfield sang a precious offertory song, “In My Father’s House”.
Operation Christmas Child items needed are pencils, pens, plastic soup bowls, kid scissors, plastic bottles with straws or cups with covers, large pink erasers, pencil sharpeners, large glue sticks, hooks and bait weights, measuring tapes, needles, thread, safety pins, small scissors or nail clippers.
The Washington Parish Food Bank needs chicken/beef broth, instant grits, hamburger helper, tomato sauce, top ramen, and chicken noodle soup.

School begins this week. I love my kiddos, coworkers, and my job, but I am just not ready yet. (I say that every year, but praise the Lord, I only have to say it 3 more times before retirement, haha).
