Finally! We are beginning to feel Fair weather, and it is the week before the Washington Parish Free Fair. I am so excited about the week off, but more so for what the Fair means to me. My entire life has revolved around the Fair. Music programs on the stage, showing sheep, rodeo, Mile Branch, serving water, seeing friends and family I haven’t seen in a very long time, the food, and projects in the various booths.
Enon Baptist Church will have Blessing of Food October 15th and 16th.
On Wednesday and Sunday nights the Youth will have Dinner and Bible Study/Fellowship and the Children in Action will have Dinner and Bible Study/Lesson each week.
If you would like to participate in our Fair Outreach, you can contact Brother Chris or Brother Lennie. We will have a Prayer Walk at the Fairgrounds on October 15th at 6 pm; just meet at the stage.
Our Young Adult Sunday School class will begin on October 18th.

If you would like to purchase raffle tickets for our Men and Women’s Gift Basket Raffle, please contact myself or one of the teachers. Tickets are $2 each and the baskets are worth over $500 each. Thank you for your support.
Remember school will be out for the WPFF the week of October 19th to 23rd.
The Enon Library will be closed October 21st through 24th for the WPFF. The library has had some cool activities this past week. Bats in the Library was one that had the kids a little “batty”. Each Tuesday is Cartoon afternoon right after school, with lots of snacks and laughs. If you get a chance, swing by and visit with the fantastic librarians and check out a good book or check for the various activities they have coming up.
I hope each of you have a great week! Until next time……….
