Ethelyn King Sharp, 83, a resident of Franklinton passed away Friday morning February 6, 2026 at her residence. She worked for Rutter Rex for many years and after retirement she still enjoyed sewing for her family. She loved to cook for her family. Her pastime was spent visiting with family and friends.

Daughter: Tammy Magee Williams of Covington

12 Great grandchildren: Jamie Lynn Williams, Christian Myers, Haley and Jase Peterson, Jameson Lagrange, Heidi Williams, Scott Williams, Chandler Menne, Jordan Menne, Hanna and Drew Howell, Caleb Williams, Madeline Williams, Kyle Williams
3 Great great grandchildren: Charlee Brooke Peterson, Zachary Howell, Thomas Howell
She was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah McCain Myers, a son Mark Anthony Magee, her parents Alfred and Ethel Mae Jenkins King, her siblings Rudolph King, Willard King, W D King, Delon King, Curtis King, James Howard King, Robert King, Rosetta Dunn and Eva Nations and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday, February 9, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 9 pm and after 9:00 am Tuesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Tuesday with Rev. Bryan Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
