The Fair Is Coming! Informational meeting for queen and teen queen contestants is August 24

In a sure sign that the Fair is not that far away, Washington Parish Fair Queen Bailey Burdette and Teen Queen Presly Phillips are inviting anyone interested in becoming the 2025 Fair Queen or Teen Queen to attend an informational meeting on Sunday, August 24, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

The meeting will be held at the Fairgrounds in the Homemakers Building.

Queen contestants should be aged 17 to 22 and Teen Queen aged 14 to 16. The meeting attire is Sunday best, and one chaperone is also allowed to attend.

Anyone unable to attend can contact Queen Committee Chairwoman Cindy Ingram 985-515-3036 or Co-Chair Lexie Hebert 985-570-4259 for an information packet.
