The Mighty Thomas Carnival will provide the midway for the 2026 Washington Parish Free Fair in October.
This year, the Fair will introduce FunTagg digital ride ticketing, replacing traditional paper tickets. Riders may use a reloadable physical Ride Card, the FunTagg Mobile App, or an individual arm band for designated unlimited-ride sessions.
Advance Ride Cards preloaded with 100 ride credits will go on sale beginning Monday, September 28th for the special price of $27 (cash only).
The cards may be shared among family members or other riders, just as paper tickets were shared. The physical card must be presented and scanned for each rider. Any unused credits will remain on the card and may be used in the future. Rides require 8-20 credits each.
Fairgoers who have unused paper tickets from previous years may still use them. Previously purchased paper tickets will continue to be honored.

Thursday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 24th will be PAY-ONE-PRICE Mid-Way Days and each Arm Band will cost $28. The PAY-ONE-PRICE arm bands can be purchased beginning at 10 am on those days and can be used until 4 pm only on the day purchased. They can only be purchased on the Midway at the fairgrounds.
The Fair and Midway will also be open on Sunday, October 25th.
