A new exhibit for July and August at the museum will feature family histories and genealogies.
The public is asked to participate by sharing their own family trees with genealogy books, photographs, etc. to be loaned to the museum for the two-month long display.
The museum has several genealogy books, family tree illustrations and old photographs of families of our area. These will form the basis of the exhibit and loans from the public will fill out the exhibit.
If you would like to share your family's history, you may bring your items to the museum on the second weekend of July.
As we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday, we will all look back at our ancestry during this new and exciting reflection of the families of our citizens.
