Franklinton High School's Class of 1976 celebrated its 50th Class Reunion beginning Friday, August 28 at Chimes in Covington. They reminisced about their time in high school-the good old days--and enjoyed some great food. On Saturday, August 29, the group traveled to New Orleans and enjoyed the Hop-On Hop-Off City Bus Tour. After the bus tour, they boarded the Steamboat Natchez and cruised the river. On the last day of the weekend reunion, Sunday, August 30, they met at Faith in the Word Church and worshipped together in the name of Jesus. The group had an awesome time those three days and vowed to continue to meet with each other to keep in touch. The class appreciates Gwen Washington, Jonathan Warren, Jason Hatch, Steve Nicoulin (Natchez Steamboat Captain), Ray Magee for putting the reunion information on social media, and Vikki Taylor for organizing the reunion. The Class of 1976 will be attending the FHS Homecoming game on October 30.
