The Franklinton Demons basketball team ended its 2024-2025 season with a quarterfinal playoff loss to Brusly Friday night.
FHS fell to Brusly by a 86-56 score.
Brusly, which has won 18 games this season by a margin of 21 points or more, took an early lead and never lost it. Brusly, seeded #5 in the state playoffs, led 48-25 at the end of the first half enroute to the win.
For #13 seeded FHS, the loss broke a 2-game playoff winning streak, after the Demons defeated Sterlington in the first round and then upset Monroe Carroll in the second round to advance to the quarterfinal game vs Brusly.
RJ Hart was the high scorer for the Demons in the Brusly game with 20 points.
Franklinton ended its 2024-2025 season with a 17-10 record.
