FHS wins in first round, will face Carroll Tuesday in second round

The Franklinton Demons won their first round state basketball playoff game Friday night, defeating Sterlington 56-50.

With the win, the #13 seeded Demons will now move into the 2nd round, traveling to Monroe to face #4 seeded Carroll High School this Tuesday evening, March 4.

The Demons entered the playoffs on a 7-1 win streak, with a regular season record of 15-9.
