It's a big weekend for football, with local high schools, LSU, and the Saints all playing.
#3 Nationally ranked LSU will host Louisiana Tech in Baton Rouge on Saturday, while the Saints will be in the Superdome on Sunday vs Arizona.
Meanwhile, Washington Parish high school football is kicking into gear this week, with Franklinton High traveling to always challenging Amite Friday evening.
Bowling Green will be at home in Franklinton as the Bucs take on Oak Forest Friday evening.
Pine is also at home, facing St. Aquinas, and Varnado will host Slaughter Charter. Pine's game is Thursday this week, while Varnado's is Friday.
Also playing on Thursday will be Bogalusa, as the Lumberjacks take on Covington. It's a home game for Bogalusa.
And Ben's Ford will be at Sylva Bay on Friday.
