The Rotary Clubs of Franklinton and Bogalusa held our Annual Officer Installation this past Wednesday at Bourne’s Seafood just off of Highway10 on Highway 62 at Sheridan. It was a great night celebrating the accomplishments of our outgoing presidents — Coylean Schloegel (Franklinton) and Kim Wagner (Bogalusa) — and recognizing their leadership over the past year.
Sheriff Jason Smith administered the oath of office to our new officers. For Franklinton: President Kristina Knight, President-Elect Matt Garver, Secretary Patricia Causey, and Treasurer Heather Seal
For Bogalusa: President Bradley Lewis, President-Elect Drake Pierce, Treasurer Larry Miller, Recording Secretary Cindy Melancon, and Corresponding Secretary Freda Billings.
We also recognized Tracey Williams on her appointment as Assistant District Governor for the Lake Territories. Congratulations, Tracey!
Last year, our two clubs began holding this annual banquet together at Bourne’s Seafood, a perfect central location for our parish. We’re grateful to Rammie and his staff for always taking such great care of us.
It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, friendship, and celebrating all of the work Rotary does in our communities.
