Gregory Charles Thomas, 69, a resident of the Thomas Community passed away Wednesday September 9, 2026 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
He was a Class of 1975 graduate of Pine High School and later worked with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office for a time. Greg then began a 20 year career in the car sales industry, most recently working in the finance department for Mack Grubbs Motors for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and was a big football fan, especially the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He was a member of Thomas First Baptist Church. Greg always enjoyed having a good time with his friends and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Also numerous cousins, other family and many dear friends
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edwin Thomas, nephew Derrick Procell and other family members
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) Tuesday September 15th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Tuesday with Rev. Tom Descant officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas/Forest Haven Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Ray Vince, Kevin Thomas, Zander Thomas, Ron Thomas, Jake Brumfield, Thomas Branch.
