The G.R.I.T.S. girls, red hat group celebrated Christmas in Hammond at Murphy's seafood restaurant with Christi Cashio as our hostess. She and her husband Danny made miniature Santa clauses to decorate our tables, and everyone present went home with one.
Our December birthday ladies were Sharyn Lobell, Edleana Wattigney, Jean Lulue, Ann Hingle, Sue Burch and Brenda Hayden. Sharyn Lobell led our prayer and blessing for our food. After lunch we played our ornament game with Dale Wattigney reading the Christmas story. Lorell Morris presented all members with a basket filled with goodies. The group presented her with two fun boxes with money flying out of them and a crown Christmas ornament.
Pictured above are those enjoying the festivities. Seated on floor left to right are Brenda Hayden, Brenda Penny, Christi Cashio Ann Hingle and Sue Burch. Second row, Sharyn Lobell, Jenny Warren, guest, Lorell Morris, queen mother, Dale Wattigney, guest and Edleana Wattigney. A special surprise was Jenny joining us to celebrate. Our servers, food and fellowship were awesome.
